Richard Houdek plays a key role in the firm as his 20 years of experience covers a vast array of projects and project types.

Richard's involvement has lead to national and local award winning projects including the corporate headquarters for AAA Michigan and a contemplative garden for a private school. This range of work is reflected in the variety of projects he manages, from commercial developments to multi-family housing, schools, and parks.

Well-versed in different project types, his day-to-day schedule involves overseeing the coordination of construction documents for bid as well as his hands on involvement in construction administration and follow up. He also brings in-depth knowledge and experience in athletic field construction.

Among his educational accomplishments at Michigan State University is his recognition as recipient of the Federated Garden Club Scholarship and Construction Award in the Landscape Architecture Program.

Active in professional organizations, Richard also volunteers his time and talent to the community, such as his involvement with Habitat for Humanity in Detroit.
